Due to the recent government regulations and strict visitor limits, I strongly recommend booking your entry in advance. Visitors without a confirmed booking may be denied entry. Entry Fee: ₹100 per person Parking: Free parking is available for both cars and bikes. If you’re planning a weekend trip, try to reach early in the morning to avoid traffic and enjoy the best views.

If you're visiting Kundalika Valley during the monsoon, prepare to forget what your phone gallery looked like before this trip. 🌧️🌿 The moment you reach the viewpoint, you're welcomed by endless shades of green, clouds floating below eye level, and waterfalls appearing from every corner of the mountains as if nature suddenly decided to show off. Every few minutes the scenery changes—one moment you have crystal-clear valley views, the next you're standing inside a cloud wondering where the mountains disappeared. And honestly, that's part of the magic. The drive itself is an experience. Winding roads, mist-covered hills, cool breeze, and the smell of wet earth make the journey just as memorable as the destination. If you're lucky, you'll witness waterfalls flowing directly beside the road, making it impossible not to stop for photos every few kilometers. Monsoon is undoubtedly the best time to visit. The valley transforms into a lush green paradise, and every viewpoint feels like a scene straight out of a movie. Just remember that the weather changes rapidly, so patience is rewarded. Wait a few minutes if the fog covers everything—it often clears just enough to reveal breathtaking views. A few tips: • Visit early in the morning for fewer crowds and magical mist. • Carry a raincoat instead of an umbrella because it can get quite windy. • Wear shoes with good grip—the ground becomes slippery. • Respect nature by not littering. Let's keep this place beautiful for everyone. • Drive carefully, especially on the ghat roads. Whether you're a biker, photographer, road-trip enthusiast, or simply someone who loves nature, Kundalika Valley in the rains deserves a spot on your travel list. It's one of those rare places where no camera can truly capture how beautiful it feels in person.

I visited yesterday, starting early in the morning, and it was absolutely worth it! All the attractive spots were completely empty, so I could enjoy the stunning views and click pictures without any disturbances. The cool breeze, morning mist, and the sound of nature made the experience even more magical. Important Tip: For Kundalika Valley, you must book your visit online in advance – there’s no entry on arrival and no cash payments accepted. Without prior booking, you won’t be allowed in, so plan ahead to avoid disappointment. The view is breathtaking – lush green hills, deep valleys, and perfect spots for photography. It’s an ideal place for nature lovers, photographers, or anyone looking for a peaceful escape. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area!

Kundalika valley was one of the most beautiful places Ive visited . There is a per person charge of Rs140 for entrance and the Forest Department using these collections and some funding has done a great job in keeping the place clean and gradually making it easier to move around . The views are just amazing . I was so enthralled that it inspired me to write a poem which I am sharing here . Inspired by yesterday’s trip Whispers of Kundalika Valley In Kundalika valley, where the waterfalls ,in the monsoons intensify, Clouds ascend the hills, a soft lullaby. Wrapped in their tender, silken shroud, Not fearsome, but dreamy, like whispers aloud. A vision unfolds, a Hindi film scene, A maiden in white, through the mist, she's serene. With a flickering candle, she glides with a grace, In a world draped in fantasy, a magical place. The hills stand as guardians, holding the clouds, In gentle allure, their beauty enshrouds. The sun, shyly peeking through billows of white, Bestows upon nature a dance of pure light. Shades of vibrant green paint the valley's expanse, As the birds serenade in a wild, joyful dance. Notes unknown to the heart, like secrets unfurled, Echo in harmony, a song of the world. The air here is fresh, like a fragrant embrace, One breath and you feel a serene, sacred space. Like an oxygen bar, where vitality flows, In each crisp inhalation, the spirit bestows. Yet hope lingers softly, a whispering prayer, That this gem of a valley remains free and rare. From the crowds and their chaos, let it stand apart, For Kundalika's magic is a treasure for the heart.
